Hi there & thank you for stopping by.  I am Mary Jo, a self-taught potter of these creations.  My pottery journey started in December of 2021 during COVID.  I bought air clay during the holiday season to pass the time and make ornaments for family & friends. I wondered if I could throw it on a wheel? To my surprise, I could & I was hooked! After a few months I had tried many types of clay.  I found my love with porcelain, which you will see a majority of my work is made with.

Like many, I have admired handmade pottery for decades.  Though, never did I imagine I would be making it myself.  

I feel very fortunate that it found a place in my life.  I  have a home workshop where I throw, paint/glaze & fire all my own work.  I certainly have a new appreciation for this beautiful art; the work & time that just one piece takes to finish. Thankful & blessed for many that have & continue to support my pottery.  I love making new & original creations.  The most rewarding part is seeing the smiles & stories behind those that have made my art a part of their home.
